What is the Hills Craft Market?
The Hills Craft Market is one of the largest regular local markets with dozens of stalls featuring top quality Australian Arts, Crafts, Plants and Gourmet Foods or unique items from around the world.

When and Where is the Hills Craft Market held?
The Hills Craft Market is held on the 4th Sunday of each month- not to be confused with the last Sunday of the month as some months contain 5 Sundays!

There is an extra market in December and no market in January.

Trading times are from 9am to 2pm in winter (May to August) and 3pm in summer. Refer Calendar page for information on upcoming markets. The market is held at Castle Hill Showground on Showground Road, Castle Hill. Enter off Carrington Road.

What types of Art and Craft are on Sale?
All kinds! Knitting, weaving, pottery, woodcraft, Decoupage, embroidery, stencils, home furnishings, jewellery and toys of all kinds to name a few.

How much is entry to the market?
Entry is free - as is the (substantial) parking.

Is there Disabled and Stroller access?
Wheelchairs and Strollers can access the market and stalls with ease.

What happens in wet weather?
The market is on rain or shine. In wet weather conditions we relocate to other pavilions if possible, which allows us to have the majority of stallholders undercover. Regardless of the weather, the market is always a great day out.

Is there food and drink available?
Yes, there is a food area which caters to all tastes.

Are there play areas for children?
The market is in the Castle Hill Showground which has plenty of space for children to run around safely. We also have plaster painting, assorted children’s activities and a Jumping Castle.

Are there special events held at the market?
Yes, special events will be held at the market through the year. Keep checking this website for details or join our monthly email newsletter that lets you know what is happening.

Are there demonstrations of crafts on the day?
Various stalls have areas where they display how there wares are made. Craft Workshops are also available from time to time - keep checking this website for details.
